A growing e-waste treatment plant in South Africa collected large volumes of printed circuit boards from household appliances, telecom servers, and obsolete industrial control systems. Previously, the boards were exported as mixed scrap, which meant low returns and high logistics expenses.
In 2025, the operator decided to invest in a PCB dismantling and recycling line from our company. The customized system combined hot-air depopulation, hammer crusher, pulse dust collector, and automatic sorting modules. After commissioning, the client started processing 1 ton of PCBs per shift. Copper, aluminum, and solder materials are now sorted on site, and the leftover fiberglass powder is supplied to local building material companies. The customer said the equipment helped them add new revenue channels and comply with South Africa’s environmental regulations.
