Traditional manual dismantling methods were slow, labor-intensive, and produced inconsistent material recovery rates. To solve these challenges, our customer customized a fully automated waste refrigerator dismantling and recycling system from our company
The line includes a conveyor-fed two-shaft shredder, a foam separation unit, a metal and plastic sorting system, and a dust control module. The machine is capable of processing up to 80–100 discarded refrigerators per hour. After shredding, ferrous metals are removed using magnetic separation, while copper and aluminum components are collected separately. Insulation foam is extracted and further compressed to avoid secondary pollution.
